Temporary Part-time Accounting Specialist

Maple Valley, WA | Part-time 20-30 hours/week | Hourly |

$18-$20/hr. D.O.E.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a diligent accounting specialist to be responsible for processing invoicing. Duties include updating clients’ details, creating and sending invoices to clients, tracking payments, and reporting irregularities to the financial manager.

A top-notch accounting specialist should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensuring that client information details are kept up to date.
Creating and sending invoices and statements to customers.
Checking the data input to ensure the accuracy of the final bill.
Tracking payments and ensuring that the cash flow into the company is buoyant.
Reporting issues or irregularities to the financial head of the company.
Fixing billing errors by issuing debit and credit memos.
Recovering outstanding debts.
Handling clients’ account queries.
Initiating new procedures for billing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Processing invoicing for sales orders shipped
Customer audits
Processing credit cards from orders
Deposits in accounting system
Customer Accounts Receivable

What it takes to succeed:

Must reside within 15 miles of Maple Valley

Reports To:

The position reports directly to the Finance Manager, Josh Rigtrup.
