Job Description:
Spartan Windows & Gutters LLC provides external cleaning services and internal window cleaning services to both residential and commercial customers. Technician candidates will be trained to work both solo and with a team to conduct the following services:
– Window cleaning (Traditional)
– Window cleaning (Water fed)
– Pressure washing
– Roof cleaning
– Gutter cleaning
– House washing
– Chemical application
– Christmas Lighting
Candidates must be able to work in various environments including tall buildings (up to 4 stories) and tight spaces. Candidates must be able to carry heavy equipment and ladders (50lbs or more). Our technicians must be able to pass a background check due to the nature of our services. We are looking for self-driven candidates with a stellar work ethic and the ability to speak to customers in a respectful and helpful manner at all times. Common job site activities include:
– Carrying ladders
– Accessing roofs and working for extended hours (3-6 hours) on roofs of various pitch while harnessed
– Bending, squatting and reaching for extended hours
– Manipulating high pressure equipment
– Application of various cleaning chemicals
– Working around heavy and loud machinery
Due to the nature of our services, technicians must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to and from job sites. Driving records and criminal background checks are conducted on each candidate to ensure they are a good fit for our team.
Upon hire, employees will go through two-four weeks of classroom and on the job training. The first 90 days is considered a probationary period to assess work ethic, required skills and customer service. Candidates must show mastery in each skill before being qualified as a technician. Team leaders will be selected based on experience, the ability to effectively manage job sites and effectively communicate with customers. Hourly pay is as follows:
– Candidate (Trainee): $18/hr
– Technician: $20-23/hr
– Team Leader: $25-28/hr
