Job Description:

STEAMboat Studio is seeking a reliable, organized, customer-oriented person to assist with day-to-day operations in our Maple Valley Studio.
Responsibilities include:

● Manage all aspects of birthday party booking process, including customer communication, online registration, and staff scheduling
● Publish and maintain class schedule in online registration system; monitor registration levels and communicate with customers regarding attendance and class changes
● Publish staff schedule through online scheduling app and troubleshoot scheduling issues as they arise
● Respond to customer inquiries via phone and/or email and forward messages to appropriate staff as needed
● Assist customers with payments as needed and issue credits/refunds in accordance with published policies
● Perform routine studio organization and manage cleaning task list for support staff
● Monitor supply inventory, manage supply requests from staff, and assist with supply ordering/purchasing
● Supervise support staff to complete weekly supply preparation tasks
● Perform additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualified candidates must have:

● Exceptional organizational skills
● Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● The desire to deliver a positive customer experience

Candidates must also possess the ability to:

● Initiate tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
● Maintain focus and concentration in a busy classroom environment
● Work quietly and perform tasks without distracting from classroom experience for students
● Pass WSP background check

The ideal candidate will have:

● Associate degree or equivalent experience
● Experience with social media marketing
● Experience with Quickbooks

Hours: 15-20 hours per week; morning/early afternoon M-F
Salary: $20/hour; Salary may be negotiable for exceptionally well qualified candidates
