Puget Sound Energy’s Up & Go Electric Charging Installation Program is Accepting Applications
As Washington state prepares for a boom in electric vehicles, Puget Sound Energy is removing the barriers that keep property owners from hosting a public charging station.
Install a public EV charging station at low to no cost. As Washington state prepares for a boom in electric vehicles, PSE is removing the barriers that keep property owners from hosting a public charging station.
Up & Go Electric for Public allows businesses and communities to easily and affordably provide EV charging by covering up to 100% of the costs to install, maintain and operate a public charging station.
Currently, applications are open for the customer-owned option. This option allows customers to have more control over the charging station. This includes managing installation, ownership, and maintenance in exchange for 50% of the costs covered by PSE. This also allows the owner to collect revenue and receive Clean Fuel Standard Credits.
