Free PPE Available to Businesses - Drive Thru Style

The Maple Valley Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce and the City of Maple Valley are coordinating a PPE (cloth and disposable masks and hand sanitizer) pick up next week on Tuesday, June 30th and Wednesday, July 1st. Businesses are encouraged to drive thru the parking lot of the Chamber office between 11:30am and 1:30pm on both days to received your FREE cloth and disposable masks along with a 14oz. bottle of hand sanitizer (amounts will be determined by number of employees). Gov. Inslee Announces Statewide Mask Mandate

Yesterday afternoon Gov. Inslee announced that starting Friday, June 26th everyone will be required to wear a facial covering when outside their home and in public. The governor said there are exemptions to the facial covering rule, including: People who can't wear masks because of existing medical conditions. Children 5 years old and younger. People who are deaf or need to have their mouth uncovered in order to communicate. When it is onerous to do so, including customers who are eating out at a restaurant.
