Chamber to host Virtual Auction - "BAND TOGETHER"We are SO excited to announce our 2020 "BAND TOGETHER" Virtual Auction hosted by the MV BD Chamber of Commerce! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to hold our annual GALA in person, so we are bringing the auction to the public in the form of a Virtual Auction. Date of Auction: Monday, October 26 - Friday, October 30. The auction will be open for 5 days and will end with an optional "Post Auction Virtual Happy Hour" on the last day, October 30th. (More details to follow). We need your help!! We are looking for auction donations. It can be an item, a service or an experience. Because it will be virtual, we will be showcasing the donations in a different way. Besides using high quality images of the donations, donors will have the opportunity to make a short 30 second or less video showcasing their donation, highlighting the auction and the need to support our local businesses (including their own) during this critical time. These videos will be shared on social media and will help bring more exposure to our auction as well as to the businesses! Read article
