Inslee announces new SAFETY PLAN for reopeningGovernor Inslee announced a new safety plan for reopening the State of Washington. The HEALTHY WASHINGTON plan replaces the old SAFE START plan. The state will be divided up into 8 regions based on health system resources. In order to move to a new Phase (currently we are in a Phase 1), regions will have to show a 10% decrease in trends in case rates; a 10% decrease in COVID hospital admission rates; an ICU occupancy rate that's less than 90% and a test positivity rate of less than 10%.
