Non-Profit social services agency in Black Diamond, operating with two major areas: the senior center and emergency services center. We are a senior center, with the primary focus being our congregate lunch program on Tuesdays and Thursdays; We also have various social, recreational, and health related activities available for the seniors. Our non-perishable food bank is the primary focus of our emergency services program, which also includes a clothing bank, assistance for Puget Sound Energy with Salvation Army vouchers, bread and pastries from a local grocery store, and more.

Greater Maple Valley Community Center
The Community Center regularly examines our role to gauge how we can most successfully meet those human service needs unmet by other organizations. A result of this process is that we regularly update and refine our activities and services.
This effort led us to develop our "Four Pillars of Service" which guide us in the implementation of a diverse and comprehensive program delivery model.
Every year we leverage our resources with 35+ partner groups to provide more than 40,000 hours of direct service to toddlers, teens, adults, seniors and families.
Prevention & Intervention programs provide activities and/or guidance that seek to reduce or deter specific or predictable problems. Our goal is to protect the current state of well-being and/or promote desired outcomes or behaviors.
Health & Wellness programs help people to be active participants in managing their health and lifestyle. We promote independent living and aging in place by focusing on the mental, physical, emotional and social components of everyday life.
Community Connections programs serve as the hub, or gathering place, for the varied and diverse elements of our local society. We enrich our neighborhoods by providing support for groups to develop kinship, positive growth and a cooperative spirit.
Emergency Resource Center: We are dedicated to assisting our community to prepare for natural and/or man-made emergencies. We can offer shelter, warmth and sustenance to those who need us the most in the event of a disaster. Perhaps more importantly, we believe that we can better serve our community by helping people be prepared at home and work. during an emergency.

Visitation Hours: Open daily from sunrise to sunset. Located near Maple Valley, it is the first and only national cemetery in the State of Washington. Tahoma has a Memorial walkway containing 36 memorials that commemorate soldiers of various 20th century wars, donated by various service organizations. A Blue Star Memorial is located south of the Public Information Center. The marker was originally part of a banner that families displayed in their homes during the 1940’s to signify that they had a loved one fighting in World War II. Today, the marker honors all veterans. The 160 acre cemetery is on SE 240th Street, adjacent to Maple View Middle School.
