Base Pay: $60,000 – $72,000 / Annually

About Vine Maple Place (VMP)
VMP is a fast-growing, faith-based nonprofit company devoted to ending family homelessness in South King County. We serve homeless and vulnerable single parent families and their children providing housing services, workforce development, financial empowerment, behavioral health support, life skills and child & youth programs. Our approach offers safety, provides stability and equips to self-sufficiency. Due to the homelessness crisis in King County, VMP is expanding to serve more families in need. Families show great success in the program: 91% maintain stable housing one year after exiting the program.

Job Summary
Responsible for managing and evaluating daily operations of the Housing Stability (HS) team. Plans department work, supervises, assigns caseload and coordinates Program activities. Builds HS staff capacity to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment. Oversees offsite and onsite housing move-ins, move-outs, and family needs. Provides leadership and outcome planning to ensure the HS team delivers high quality, effective programs to families facing homelessness. Hires HS Specialists and evaluates staff performance. Responsible to ensure housing staff is trained and executing their daily responsibilities. Ensures housing staff is integrating the spirit of the work in operations daily (i.e., MI, Trauma-Informed and other techniques). This role is a foundational part of the success of single-parent families reaching their goal of self-sufficiency and stable housing while in the program.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and administrate the defined scope and components of the HS team. Ensure the evaluation of effectiveness and coordination of services. Maintain the client roster with HS.
Ensure that programs comply with funding, and program goals and outcomes.
Ensure that programs are successfully integrating supportive services and components to stabilize and improve housing and outcomes of participants.
Participate in the development of overall goals, objectives and policies of the HS program.
Administrate and provide training to the staff on established procedures and processes to ensure quality and consistent services to families.
Oversee timely and accurate data entry by the HS team to ensure compliance with database procedures.
Monitor and assess monthly progress with the Housing Stability Director.
Network and maintain contact with industry and community resources for the purpose of collaborating and learning.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree to the VMP Statement of Faith.
Be passionate about helping families overcome the trauma of homelessness.
Embrace diversity and work effectively with a diverse team of professionals; sensitivity to the needs of clients, staff and volunteers from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
2+ years’ experience providing services to at-risk and culturally diverse populations, especially families with children.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 4 years of management experience or a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) + 3 years of experience.
Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams.
Sensitivity to the needs of clients who are homeless, low income, limited English speaking or impacted by domestic violence and substance abuse in the family unit.
Ability to communicate, connect and collaborate with cross-functional team.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet navigation and general computer skills.
Experience or ability to learn electronic client database.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to independently prioritize, organize workload and special projects to meet deadlines, take initiative and exhibit flexibility.
Possess the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality.
Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from clients.
