The Maple Valley Police Department is hosting National Night Out with First Responders at Lake Wilderness Park from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1.
This year, Maple Valley Police Chief Tommy Collins, Maple Valley police officers and their vehicles along with Maple Valley City Council Members will be onsite at the Park to gather and meet with community members.
Maple Valley Explorers, King County Sheriff’s SWAT vehicle, bomb unit, K-9 and helicopter are all expected to be there next Tuesday as well. Puget Sound Fire will also be in attendance with one of their engines.
Join us for a fun evening with our First Responders and pick up some dinner, Cascadia Pizza and Corndoggery food trucks along with games for kids will be available.
Similarly to years past, Maple Valley Police Chief, Officers and Council will travel to different neighborhood communities to meet with residents and other community members.
National Night Out is a community and police awareness raising event that is held throughout the country on the first Tuesday of August each year. This campaign helps promote police and community partnerships.
