On Thursday, May 25th at 6:30 pm the City of Maple Valley, Tahoma Behavioral Health Collective, and Tahoma School District are hosting a community education event around drug and alcohol use and prevention. Our goal is to educate and empower parents to communicate with their children about risky behaviors that lead to substance use. We are partnering with Influence the Choice, a prevention organization from Issaquah, to host the Hidden In Plain Sight exhibit (a recreation of a teenage bedroom with signs of substance misuse) and facilitate a presentation and panel discussion.
