Seeking Nominations for 2020 Chamber Business Awards

The Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce is looking for nominations for the 2020 Business of the Year award, 2020 New Business of the Year award, 2020 Chamber Member of the Year award and 2020 Non-Profit of the Year award.  Click here to be directed to our survey. Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, December 22nd.

We will be honoring the achievements, the dedication, and the innovative spirit of our local businesses over the past year. We want to tell our stories, proclaim achievements, celebrate milestone anniversaries, and brag a little.  

Not only is this an opportunity to more formally recognize and applaud businesses, it is an opportunity to share the most successful business practices and set a benchmark for excellence.
We are looking for nominations for the following awards:
 
2020 Business of the Year Award - The business of the year nominee will be considered on the basis of their success in providing high quality products or services, demonstrating strong ethical standards, exhibiting leadership with its employees and clients within its industry and its involvement and collaboration in the community. Nominee must be a Chamber Member and have been in business at least 2 years or more.
 
2020 New Business of the Year Award - The new business nominee will be considered on the basis of their impact and business professionalism through customer service, product quality and community involvement. This award will also recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of this new business addition to the Greater Maple Valley Black Diamond Area. Nominees must be Chamber Members and have been in business at least 9 months but less than 2 years.
 
2020 Chamber Member of the Year Award - This Chamber person will be considered on the basis of their effectiveness in working together with other area business(es) to achieve more. Nominees will provide a shining example of how collaboration among two or more businesses can benefit all involved through combining of resources, sharing of expertise and/or creatively building upon one another's efforts. Nominees must be Chamber members and have been in business for at least one year.
2020 Non Profit of the Year Award - The Non-Profit of the Year award is given to a 501(c)3 organization whose strategic vision, passion and perseverance has led to extraordinary outcomes for the Maple Valley Black Diamond community. Recipients of this award generally utilize new approaches in overcoming obstacles to achieve its mission. Nominees much be Chamber members.
