Your Maple Valley Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce is advocating for you!! We have signed on to an Association of Washington Business (AWB) and Grassroots Alliance letter that was delivered to the Governor today. In summary, we are urging the Governor to consider both the public health consequences and the economic consequences of the latest restrictions. Instead of banning all indoor activities in some industries, we are urging him to consider a universal 25% occupancy restriction for each identified industry. We know these are tough times for many and we also urge you to reach out directly to the Governor's office and our local legislators to let them know how these restrictions are affecting your business. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call Erica at 253.455.4031 read more

The Chamber has created a new SHOP LOCAL Facebook group page to help ALL of our local businesses as we all navigate these difficult and uncertain times. As a Chamber member, we encourage you to to post your specials, offerings, services, etc...on that page, so we can help spread the word about your business. Our goal with that group page is to help our local business community share the SHOP LOCAL vibe throughout the Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Ravensdale & Hobart communities. Here is the link to the new SHOP LOCAL group page: And to our restaurant/bar/catering members, don't forget we also have the FaceBook group page, "Maple Valley, Black Diamond Take-Out & Delivery Options Amid Covid-19". People are still using it to find out who is open during this new round of restrictions! Please feel free to post in either or both if they apply to you! And if you need anything from us, please reach out. We are here to help wherever we can. read more
