Join us for an important and informative presentation by a local FEMA Liaison. FEMA understands the role of businesses in a disaster is to support local community members to get back on their feet and/or disaster operations to ensure commodities are flowing. In doing so, it means that businesses are able to remain open and minimize impacts to their structures, staff, and supply chain when a disaster occurs. It's not always easy but that's why they continue to message, analyze, and train business members to mitigate and prepare. Brett Holt and Ilyssa Plummer with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region 10 will discuss the role of the FEMA, how FEMA engages the private sector before, during, and after a disaster, and provide information on how your business and employee can be prepared for the next disaster.
