The Chamber will welcome new Tahoma teachers with Goody Bags! 70 Items needed by THURSDAY, August 15th! The 'bus load' of new teachers to the Tahoma School District will be greeted with what we call "goody bags" - a bag full of samples, coupons, candy, pens and other items from local businesses. The goody bag serves as a welcome from our businesses especially to the teachers who come from outside our greater community. People tend to shop close to where they work - so this is a great opportunity for local businesses to welcome new teachers to our greater community and to let them know what's in store for them - right here in Maple Valley! read more

It's our favorite time of year - summer! And that means Wacky & Wild.....On Wednesday, July 17th, the Wacky & Wild Golf Tournament will be held at Lake Wilderness Golf Course. Sponsored by UW Medicine, tt's a day filled with fun, networking and golf (sort of). There are many ways to be involved: put a foursome together and register as a team and wear your wackiest outfit, have your business sponsor one of the many Wacky activities and/or volunteer as a course marshal - you get to drive a golf cart! Click on the different links to get more information. The best way to sign up is to call the Chamber office at 425.432.0222 x101 or email info@maplevalleychamber.org. read more
