I’m honored to be elected to the Chamber Board, and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our community. Having worked in Maple Valley since 2006, I’ve seen the city work through challenges that face many growing cities and towns, and I’m excited to be part of that process. My decision to locate my office in Maple Valley was a deliberate one, and I’m pleased to be deepening my relationships with the residents and the business community, as I plan to be here for quite some time.
Since joining Edward Jones, I’ve served in a variety of leadership roles, with a focus on assisting new associates – mentoring, training, and supporting other branch teams as they build their businesses. Volunteerism is at the core of the Edward Jones culture, and this extends, of course, outward to our communities. I look forward to working with Chamber members in the same way, empowering them as business owners to succeed and thrive through networking and building relationships.
Amanda is a member of the Maple Valley Chapter of BNI (Business Network International), and serves as an Ambassador for the Maple Valley Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband, Chris, live in Auburn with their nine year-old daughter, Alexis.

After teaching secondary Math and French for 28 years I decided that it was time to try something new. I am now working as an Edward Jones Financial Advisor, teaching people how to prepare for and live in retirement (with no homework to grade in the evening!). I enjoy being involved in the community and look forward to meeting new members and helping them to also get involved in community events and activities.

Maple Valley Food Bank & Emergency Services
Office: 425.432.8633
Hi, I’m Lindsey! Most days, you’ll find me with a big cup of coffee in one hand and a to-do list in the other. Growing up with two entrepreneurial parents, it’s not in my DNA to stay stagnant; I’m always looking to learn, move and grow. I graduated from Seattle University with a BA in Strategic Communications + Humanities for Leadership and Georgetown University with a Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
I was hired as the Executive Director of the Maple Valley Food Bank in February 2020 after serving two years as the Events and Marketing Coordinator. Before joining the food bank, I worked in a variety of roles: I kickstarted a social strategy firm dedicated to helping small businesses connect with their communities, taught marketing at Tahoma High School, and worked as a digital media associate in Washington DC to help for-profit businesses grow their social impact. The common thread? Relationships were always at the center. I’m excited to be joining the Chamber as an Ambassador and look forward to connecting with likeminded professionals!
