Danny Shin , Treasurer

Prior to joining AFLAC, Danny spent over 15 years in the cable industry, most recently as the Northwest Regional Director of Marketing for a mid-sized cable company.

Danny believes that Maple Valley and the surrounding area are poised to experience a tremendous amount of growth in the next 3-5 years. With the recent correction in the housing market and the influx of young families attracted to our great schools and the quality of life, Danny sees a very bright future for the Chamber where more businesses will be added to meet the needs of this growing demand.

Danny and wife, Jennifer, have two children, Stephen and Katie, who attend school in the Tahoma School District. He volunteers his time with the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra and served as President and is also an active member of the Chamber’s Membership Services Committee.
