It’s that time again to be thinking about Summer Camp for your kids at Camp Arnold! This year’s summer camp will be July 5th-9th, Monday-Friday. The Salvation Army has ten spots available for Black Diamond youth, ages 8-12 at Camp Arnold near Eatonville.
Community Service Camps are an extension of service and ministry to the community. The curriculum has been designed to use nature and the great outdoors as a setting to share the gospel and teach environmental awareness, encourage pro-social behavior and safely provide opportunity to every camper for fun and adventure.
Campers get to spend their days exploring over 600 acres of nature trails near Mt. Rainier, team up on the outdoor challenge course, swim in the outdoor pool, and make new friends, all in a safe and friendly environment. The activities are never-ending, and the fun never stops. And, by the way, the food is awesome!
If you are on free or reduced lunch at school, you will qualify to participate at Camp Arnold! Applications are now available at the Black Diamond Community Center. Please contact us at 360-886-1011 for more information. Applications are due back to the BDCC by Wednesday, July 1st. The camp fee is only $30 for those who qualify.
