Lake Wilderness Park Storm Clean Up 

9:00 a.m. - Noon, Saturday, February 11, 2012

The City of Maple Valley needs your help to clean up Lake Wilderness Park after the recent storm event. We are asking for volunteers to help us clean up the tons of vegetation that came down in the park. Please bring your own wheelbarrows, yard carts, rakes, shovels, etc. Label your tools so you don't lose them!

Meet City staff at 9:00 a.m. at the Parks & Recreation tent at the swim beach to sign in and receive instructions on where to begin cleanup. Coffee and treats will be provided to get you going in the morning. All ages welcome!

Waste Management has donated several large containers to collect the debris for recycling. All we have to do is get the debris into the containers.
