Small businesses in the greater Maple Valley and Black Diamond area need to be celebrated more than ever. They are the backbone of the nation’s economy, creating jobs and helping build strong communities. It is time to honor the achievements, the dedication, and the innovative spirit of entrepreneurs.

We want to tell our stories, proclaim achievements, celebrate milestone anniversaries, and brag a little. Not only is this an opportunity to more formally recognize and applaud businesses, it is an opportunity to share the most successful business practices and set a benchmark for excellence.

Submissions for the 2012 quarterly Open For Business Awards must be received by 5pm on March 30, June 29, September 28, and December 31.
