Long
time Chamber member opens new facility
It's always exciting to see a long established
business and longtime chamber member celebrate new beginnings. TRM just re-opened
its doors at the new spacious facility just behind its former location at Four
Corners. What a change! The new building brings the sales team under
the same roof as the 4500' square foot show room - and it is truly a show room. Check out the handcrafted front sales counter
for starters! If you need something for
a construction job, you can definitely find it here - it is a one-stop-shop for
the professional builder or the do-it-yourself homeowner. It's got everything
including tools, hardware, roofing, siding, lumber, decking, windows, doors,
railings, joists, trusses, and custom sawn lumber.
Along with the most extensive lines of building
products of any lumberyard, TRM has the most knowledgeable staff. Although the
building is all new, the faces are very familiar. John Morris, owner, takes a
lot of pride in having employees that have been with him for twenty plus years,
creating a sense of family in this second generation family owned
business. And that sense of family is extended
to the customer through excellent customer service, help, and advice.
With the redevelopment of that side of Four Corners,
it seems John could have moved the business anywhere but chose to stay in Maple
Valley. As he says, every community
needs a lumber yard and everyone needs a 2x4.
But more than that, TRM is one of our cornerstone businesses expanding
to meet the needs of a growing community and making a significant investment
right here.
