The Loft Salon & Spa Named 'The 2010 Economic Engine That Did'
For business growth, job creation, and customer satisfaction
This award is to recognize a company that has been in business for less than five years, that exhibits creativity, planning, and measureable success that resulting in business growth, job creation and customer satisfaction.
This year’s recipient has certainly done just that. This business opened its doors in August of 2008, just as the economy tanked and the Kummer Bridge closed detouring potential customers away from their store front. But the owners had a plan and marched on, building on the adage of ‘the client’s experience is paramount.’ They added employees and services and made their own learning a priority by attending classes to teach them what they didn’t know about business. They recognized the importance of community involvement and gave back to client fundraisers and community events. Their tag line is “Classically Sassy” and they certainly are.
Congratulations to Valerie and Nicole Westover owners of The Loft Salon & Spa, for being named this year’s Economic Engine That Did.
