From John Schuster, Vice-President of Tahoma Education Association:
I want to take a moment to thank the Chamber for its
support of TEA and the Tahoma School District at the Rally at 4 Corners last
month. Whether it was moral support or physical donation and work, you helped
to make a successful event. The rally was covered by KOMO and KIRO News, as
well as the Maple Valley Reporter. Over 100 folks tried to send the message to
Olympia that Tahoma School District cannot afford any more cuts to education.
Due to your efforts, as well as the efforts of parents, para-professionals,
administrators and teachers, I feel the message has been delivered. I wanted to
thank you all in person, but will be unable to attend the luncheon on the 21st
as it is the last day of school before the new year.
If you would like more information on how you can help
continue to send this message to our legislators, please e-mail me at j.c.schuster77@gmail.com.
From myself and all of TEA, have a wonderful and relaxing
holiday season. See you in 2012!
