It was a fabulous April Lunch & Learn with Scooter Manguso! Scooter presented an absolutely fascinating demonstration of how to prepare Pepper Encrusted Beef Tri Tip with a Brandied Crème reduction and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes.
Attendees learned far more than just this one recipe - Scooter chatted about techniques, utensils, spices, and food handling throughout the one-hour class. After the step-by-step demonstration, everyone was rewarded with sampling offered in very generous, lunch-size servings. As Sandi Sutton exclaimed, 'Who knew heavy cream came in gallon containers!"
Karen Crowe was the very lucky winner of the of the same freshly prepared dish to take home for dinner. The experience was truly fabulous and Scooter promises a return in the fall with another special 'Lunch & Learn'.
