'String' of Armed Robberies Hit South King County
(July 27, 2011)
Two convenience stores were robbed at gunpoint early this morning (July
27th). Sheriff's Office deputies believe the same three suspects are
responsible for both robberies.
The first occurred just before 3:00 AM at the Maple Valley Chevron,
27201 - 216th Ave SE. The masked men came in and took money and
cigarettes before fleeing on foot.
The second robbery was about 45 minutes later at the 76 Circle K,
26821 Maple Valley - Black Diamond Road. The three robbers matched the
descriptions of the Chevron suspects. Money was taken.
The suspects were described as white males in their 20's wearing green or black coats with hoods. And masks.
There were no injuries in either robbery.
Reportedly there were similar robberies a couple of days ago in
Federal Way.
The logical question is: Are the same suspects involved in
those robberies? Answer: Don't know.
