Custom Fit Nutrition Opens New Office In Maple Valley Center
On Thursday, November 18th, members and friends celebrated Custom Fit Nutrition's new location in The Maple Center and its new Chamber membership. Custom Fit Nutrition offers nutritional counseling for medical conditions (high cholesterol, high blood pressure, as well as many other diseases including that of the kidney, liver, and heart) food sensitivities, weight management, eating disorders, supplements and medication interactions, general wellness and disease prevention.
Joy Supplee, owner and Registered and Certified Dietician, has a Master's Degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Washington where she interned at the UW Medical Center. Joy is also a Certified Food Sensitivity Specialist. Her qualifications are some of the highest available. Joy believes that every person is unique and deserves a “custom fit” approach to nutrition care. Joy's training gives her a balanced approach including traditional evidence-based medicine as well as complementary and alternative methods. Joy handles nutrition needs from an overall wellness approach with a truly professional “custom fit”.
Prior to opening her office in The Maple Center, Joy had an office in Dr. Cynthia Cote’s Sawyer Village clinic. Their close association will continue as they refer patients to each other and co-teach a weight loss class beginning in January. That class will also include the expertise of physical therapist, Jeff Ramos, who will recommend specific exercise routines for interested class members.
Custom Fit Nutrition has two locations: one in The Maple Center, 23745 25th Way SE, Suite 201, and one on Mercer Island at 2448 76th Ave SE, Suite 212. For more information or to make an appointment, call 206.295.6810, or find it listed under the Member tab on the Chamber’s website or at www.customfitnutrition.net. Custom Fit Nutrition is also listed at www.GoMVPower.com as a participating business in Maple Valley’s buy local campaign.
