On Saturday, September 17th, the chamber will present its
‘PrimeTime’ Business Expo sponsored by KeyBank, Lake Wilderness Branch. Over 40 businesses are registered to showcase
their goods and services in the gym at Rock Creek Elementary School in
conjunction with the Maple Valley Farmers’ Market.
Why is it called PrimeTime? Because it is prime time to keep our shopping
and buying dollars right here in our greater community – let’s keep our dollars
recirculating by supporting local businesses that provide local jobs and that
generate revenue that help support our schools, parks, infrastructure, and community events and activities. Shoppers
will recognize many of their favorite local businesses and discover new ones as
well.
Kirk Lantier, branch manager of the Lake Wilderness Branch of Key Bank,
will emcee the event introducing each vendor and assist with the door prize
drawings offered by that vendor. As the
event draws to a close, Kirk will announce the lucky winner of the grand prize
of a $250 Key Possibilities Mastercard Debit Card.
It's a festive event with a little something for everyone in keeping with the spirit of the Farmer's Market - after all,
it's the Saturday morning place to be!
