I would like to give special thanks to my team that made the Fishing Derby prize ceremony a huge hit again this year. Without all of their support, we would have not been able to have such an awesome showing of prizes. For the eighth year we were able to collect enough prizes for every fisherman that entered the contest to receive a prize.
First and foremost, thank you Berthy Carson for not only donated prizes but for spending countless hours shopping for all the donors that gave money. Berthy purchased over 600 prizes! Second, thank you to Marney Hadley for all the coordination and organization for all our volunteers. Lastly, to my entire team at John L. Scott, thank you for all the prizes and time you donated this year. Thank you Tom Leavitt, Mary Easton, TK Real Estate Team, Ashley Markus, Kathy Pryor, Tricia Hudson and James Pryor, LK Scott Group, Les and Kathy Scott for all prizes you purchased. To the team that set up all the 800 prizes, thank you! That team was Pam McCain, Tricia Hudson, Ashley Markus and Kathy Pryor. For all John L. Scott reps that manned the prize tables during the derby, Jackie Zamora, Tony Zamora, Andrea, Eshleman, Jerry Eshleman, Alex Emmons, Marney Hadley, Berthy Carson, Tim Bryan, Nicole James, Hannah James and Kaitlyn James.
The other JLS team members that helped out at the derby either on the dock, at the weigh station, cooking with Rotary or at apparel sales were Pam McCain, Bo Burrige, Elsie Chaudoin, Haley Chaudoin, Nohea Sadang, Scott Miller, Clark Davis, Les Scott, Mary Easton, Tom Leavitt, Steve Strong and Dick Anderson. Dick's prize donation of a fly fishing rod was selected by the first place winner. Thank you Dick and System Three Corporation for that awesome donation.
