Studio Barre and Lounge
Looking for a unique fitness studio that provides a great workout and the opportunity to connect with others over a glass of wine or beer post workout? Studio Barre and Lounge, located at 30741 3rd Avenue, Suite #105 in Black Diamond, just might be the place for you. Owner Shay Camp-Masias opened the only studio in the Greater Maple Valley Black Diamond area specifically built for Barre, Hot Barre and Hot Mat Pilates.
You will find two rooms at Studio Barre and Lounge. A hot room that focuses on Hot Barre, Hot Yoga and Hot Mat Pilates and a cold room that offers Barre and Yoga. What makes this studio special is its full service commercial kitchen which offers lights snacks in the evening after class as well as the option to enjoy a glass of wine or beer post workout. They also offer a number of lounge areas where students can decompress after a workout or sit and connect with friends.
Known as the Studio STUD team, Studio Barre and Lounge has 8 instructors including Shay Camp-Masias, bringing energy, fun and professionalism to each class. Yoga instructors are Linda Brown, Alix Chachulski, Jean Hoiland and Michaela Herrera. Barre instructors are Roxy Robinson and Courtney Black. Liz Spencer is a Pilates instructor and Stephanie Howell can teach all three classes.
Shay says it best. “Studio Barre and Lounge is a true small business, and we appreciate the local Black Diamond and Maple Valley communities, for all their kind words and encouragement. Building this dream has been challenging on many levels, but to see how excited the students were when the doors were first opened meant the world to me. I hope that Studio Barre and Lounge brings together a strong community of Yoga, Barre and Pilates students who want to help build a special connection. I hope to see everyone there soon!”
Shay lives in the Maple Valley community with her husband and four children. “I feel very fortunate to have been a part of the Maple Valley community for over 12 years. Our four kids are entrenched in the community and we are lucky to be a part of the area. I cannot think of a better place to raise my family!” Giving back to the community is very important to Shay. Studio Barre and Lounge has donated to the Rocky’s Rescue HOWL-O-ween Dinner Auction and is working on a partnership with Vine Maple Place.
