Help Tahoma Students Aquire Future Ready Skills - Help With Mock Interviews
Posted by Bryan Kelley
A major component of the 11/12th grade Living Independently Financially Efficient (LIFE) class is to prepare students for life after high school. One way that I try to do this is by having students apply for jobs in mock interviews. It is my goal to make these interviews as realistic as possible. This a very valuable experience for our students.
What I am looking for are volunteers to conduct these interviews. Interviews will be taking place on November 1st and November 2nd.
November 1st sections:
- 6th period: 9:06-10:25am
- 8th period: 12:51-2:10 pm
November 2nd section:
- 4th period: 12:51-2:10pm
Students will have a resume and an application filled out and ready to go on the day of the interview. All volunteers will receive a packet with questions to ask, job descriptions and evaluations. Interview will take place in the school library. Each interviewer will have a station and the students will come to you during their assigned time.
I can not tell you enough how much I appreciate your help in creating this meaningful experience.
