This year the Fishing Derby is adding a new feature to the weekend - the "Reel" Raffle! What is the "Reel" Raffle? Well, we will be selling Fishing Derby buttons (made by Tahoma High School's Advanced Marketing Class students) (See image) on Friday and Saturday. By purchasing a button, you will be entered in the "Reel" Raffle. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony at the conclusion of the Fishing Derby. What will the "Reel" Raffle prize winner receive? That's were you come in! The prize will be a giant basket full of Chamber Member prizes! Our goal is collect as many Chamber Member prizes to include in the basket. As an example, your business could include a coupon for a service, or something you might give for a silent auction item. Another idea might be to purchase something fishing/camping related and add your business card to the gift. Be creative!! We want to showcase all our members to the community! Items can be dropped off at the Chamber office anytime up until April 23. You can also bring it to the April luncheon. If you have questions or need help coming up with something to donate, call us at the Chamber! 425.432.0222 read more

We are looking for a tagged fish sponsor for the upcoming 16th Annual Hooked on Fishing Trout Derby at Lake Wilderness Lodge on April 27-28. What is a tagged fish sponsor you ask? Well, first a little background. The Chamber has traditionally released a large tagged fish into Lake Wilderness the day before the derby starts. If that tagged fish is caught during the derby AND the person had bought a $5 Tagged Fish ticket, they receive a $300 cash prize. Pretty cool, huh?!? And, there is always a great photo op as we release the fish in Lake Wilderness (see photo below). As the Tagged Fish sponsor ($500), you will receive marketing recognition by way of a signage displaying your company's logo as the sponsor and you also get to "kiss" the fish prior to its release (we won't force you, though!). Your logo will also be on the tagged fish tickets that are sold prior to the event. And you will be recognized on the Chamber's Facebook page as a Tagged Fish Sponsor as well as all other promotional marketing materials the Chamber distributes prior to the event. If this sounds like something your company might be "hooked on" give Erica a call at the Chamber 425.432.0222 x101 read more
